A wild pitch brought home Ross for the first run with Krause scoring on a Ryan Johnston single to knot it up at 2-2.
- The Falcons weren't done in the second. Johnston stole second and advanced to third on a wild pitch, setting up another run for the Falcons on a sacrifice fly by Nathan Archer to make it a 3-2 BGSU lead.
- The Bobcats retaliated with eight runs in the bottom of the second to move ahead 10-3.
- OU added another tally in the fourth inning to push the score to the eventual 11-3 final.
