BGSU Sports Medicine
Â
The Bowling Green State University Sports Medicine Department is dedicated to providing the highest level of medical care to the student-athletes of BGSU. The staff certified athletic trainers and team physicians oversee the evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and referral of any injuries or illnesses sustained during participation in sport.
Â
All student-athletes at BGSU have access to an athletic trainer and the team physicians that specialize in primary care, orthopedics, podiatry, dentistry, and optometry. Several team physicians are made available on a weekly basis during the academic year in the athletic training rooms of the Sebo Athletic Center, the Stroh Center, the Slater Family Ice Arena, and Anderson Arena.
Â
The Bowling Green State University Sports Medicine Team’s overarching goal is to keep Falcon student-athletes competing in their sports injury-free, yet help them return to competition as safely, and quickly as possible should they sustain an injury.
