Falcons Return Home To Stroh Saturday To Host RedHawks

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program will break up their road stretch with a return home to the Stroh Center on Saturday (Jan. 21), hosting the Miami (OH) RedHawks for a 5 p.m. tip. The game will be the lone home game over a five-game stretch for the Falcons. The game between the Falcons and the RedHawks will be available to watch on ESPN3. Saturday will mark the 149th meeting all-time between Bowling Green and Miami (OH). The RedHawks lead the all-time series 89-59, but the Falcons hold the advantage when hosting with a record of 39-32. Two of the last three meetings have gone to overtime in the series. Last year's game in Bowling Green saw the Falcons pick up an 87-83 overtime victory. Chandler Turner posted 11 points and eight rebounds in the game for BGSU. In two games against the RedHawks last year, Turner averaged 10.5 points and 7.5 rebounds.Â

Their lone win came with a 91-80 victory over Buffalo on Jan. 10 and they came up short to Central Michigan, Kent State, Ball State and Northern Illinois. In wins, BGSU averages 40.6 rebounds and allows 34.0, but in losses BGSU's average moves to 34.7 while their opponent's go up to 37.5.Â
