Here are five things you might not know about Katie Scholten:
- At my high school graduation, my 93 classmates and I wore white "wedding like" dresses for graduation. The tradition started in 1833 and is still used today.
- I have been playing the piano for about 12 years now and before I started taking lessons I learned to play from my best friend in grade school.
- If I didn't play volleyball I would either want to be a dancer - even though I have been voted one of the worst dancers on the team - or I would have wanted to fence in college. I know that they are two completely different things :)
- Even though I am 5'10" tall, I am the shrimp of my family. At any family gathering my family gives my trouble for it.
- I have had the dream to learn American Sign Language (ASL). I've been learning a little bit over the last year or so, but I really want to become fluent in it.
