Men’s Cross Country Places Tenth at MAC Championships

AMHERST, N.Y. – The Bowling Green State University men's cross country team placed 10th at the 2025 Mid-American Conference Championships, held at the Audubon Cross Country Course.
Competing in crisp 47-degree, partly sunny conditions, Micah Bentley led the Falcons with a 47th-place finish and a time of 25:53.6.
"This was a tough day, but it's an important step for a young group," said Rachel Rhynard, associate head cross country and assistant track coach. "Every race teaches us something, and we'll use this experience to grow and be ready for what's ahead. Internally, we know how hard we've been working, and that effort will pay off as we continue to build."
Luke Lesseuer finished 49th with a personal-best time of 25:54.3, while Owen Zaumery placed 51st with a personal-best mark of 25:58.0. Luke Woolard finished 60th in 26:24.5, followed by Ashton Boyd in 74th with a personal-best time of 26:48.4. Bryce Weber placed 75th in 26:49.1, and Wyatt Ulbricht recorded a personal best of 26:57.2 to finish 77th. Isaak Rubley rounded out the Falcons' lineup, placing 84th with a time of 27:56.8.
