Falcons Fall To Colonials In Home Opener

Bowling Green, Ohio– The Bowling Green Falcons split the home-and-home series with the Robert Morris Colonials by a score of 3-0 on Sunday, October 8. The Colonials netted a goal in each period to secure their first win of the season.Â

Scoring Plays
- Christian Stoever saved the first two shots of the play, that started with Gavin Gulash who tossed the puck from the point, Walter Zacher took the rebound in front of the crease where Dominic Schimizzi hit it into the net.
- Robert Morris scored eight seconds into their first power play goal of the season. Straight off the faceoff, Rylee St. Onge hit the puck in front of the net to Cameron Hebert and McKay Hayes took the rebound and snuck it past Stoever.
- In the last minutes of the game, the Falcons added an extra skater in last efforts to add a tally to close out the game, removing Stoever from the net. The Colonials intercepted a pass and tossed the puck down the ice. Gavin Gulash set up the puck for Logan Ganie to pass it into the empty net, to secure the Colonials first victory of the season.

- Christian Stoever tallied 24 saves in the net, totaling 51Â saves on the season.
- The Falcons had three power plays in the first period.
- Jack Blake and Eric Parker both tallied two blocks on the night.
