Kenneth Morrow

Kenneth Morrow, a 1974 graduate of Flint Davison High School, played every game as a freshman, and was named to the All-CCHA team. He was drafted in the fourth round of the NHL draft by the New York Islanders following his freshman season. As a sophomore, he scored 29 points in 39 games and was named second team All-CCHA. He had a great junior year, being named a first team All-CCHA member. He was selected CCHA Player of the Year for the 1978-79 season, scoring 15 goals while adding 37 assists.
In 1980, Morrow was named to the Olympic Team, helping the USA to a gold medal, including a win over the Soviet Union in the "Miracle on Ice."
Morrow signed with the Islanders following the Olympics and helped the Isles to their first Stanley Cup Championship in 1980. They would go on to win the next three Stanley Cups as well.
Kenneth Morrow was elected to the BGSU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1984.
