Mary Damas was named an Assistant Athletic Trainer in the fall of 2025. Damas works with the Women’s Basketball program at BGSU.

Damas holds two degrees from the University of Cincinnati. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Heath Science, with a specialization in Athletic Training, in May of 2024. She earned a Master’s in Athletic Training in May of 2025.

As an Undergraduate and Graduate student at UC, Damas worked with the Bearcats football and track & field, cross country. She also worked with St. Xavier high school teams, women’s soccer at Mount St. Joseph University, and the Toledo Walleye during her graduate clinical.

Damas is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association and the Ohio Athletic Trainers Association.
