From the Locker Room
"I think the team did a good job today. Unfortunately, we had a little bit of a setback on floor exercise. However, I can see some great events coming together. I am really proud of our freshmen today. Katrina Mendez Abolnik really put together a really good all-around meet. I can see her progressing from meet to meet and getting more comfortable in that role. Kathryn Weilbacher really crushed her beam and floor routine and ended up with the wins on those events. It is exciting to see our younger team members step in and feel comfortable in their roles. Looking to next week we are really hopeful to put all four events together and excited to have a little bit of a longer training week, and that should be to our advantage as we focus on details and really aim for that 195 or higher as a team score. – Kerrie Turner, head coach
