Canton, Ohio – Head coach Mike Jinks and seniors Donovan Wilson and Nate Locke will represent Bowling Green State University Football at the Mid-American Conference's annual Media Day Wednesday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

Jinks, the second-year head coach of the Falcons, returns 13 starters and 42 letter winners from a team that won its final three games of the 2016 regular season. In total, BGSU has won 12 Mid-American Conference Championships (including two of the past four) and made 13 Bowl Game appearances (including four bowl games in the past five seasons).

Wilson is slated as the No. 1 running back heading into 2017 and closed his junior year with three straight 100-yard rushing games, totaling 372 yards on the ground over those contests. He had 30 carries for 146 yards and two touchdowns against Kent State.

Locke started the final three games of 2016 and is projected as the starting middle linebacker for the Falcons. He had a season-high eight tackles at Akron to kickstart the team's three-game win streak. In total, BGSU has won six straight contests in which Locke has started dating back to the 2015 season.

Media Day begins early Wednesday and the MAC will unveil the preseason poll, which will be posted on BGSUFalcons.com. Jinks will appear on ESPN3's coverage of MAC Media Day at 1:28 pm and photos, video and notes will be available on BGSUFalcons.com, as well as throughout all of our social media channels. Locke will take control of our Snapchat account (BGathletics) throughout Tuesday, when the players take part in an exclusive tour of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and Wednesday.
