Tickets On Sale For 2017 Football Big Ten Road Games
April 10, 2017 | Football, Falcon Club
Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Ticket Office has announced that tickets are now on sale for two road football games for the 2017 season. BGSU is selling tickets for the Sept. 2 season opener at Michigan State for $60 and tickets for the Sept. 16 game at Northwestern for $50. Tickets for these games are available through the BGSU Ticket Office only to season ticket holders and/or Falcon Club members.
Game times are yet to be announced for either contest but the Falcons have won three games against Big Ten opponents in the past three years. In fact, Bowling Green is 2-0 all-time against Northwestern, defeating the Wildcats on the road 43-42 in 2001 and in the GMAC Bowl 28-24 in 2003. Michigan State is 2-0 all-time against BGSU.
Ticket quantities for each road game are limited dependent on status as a season ticket holder and Falcon Club member. Those who are only season ticket holders (non-Falcon Club members) are entitled to purchase up to two tickets for each game.
The following chart shows ticket limits for Falcon Club members or for those who are both season ticket holders and Falcon Club members.
BGSU will also sponsor a fan bus to the Michigan State game for $35. Those purchasing tickets through the BGSU Ticket Office can reserve their seats on the bus at that time.
Alumni tailgates will begin 2.5 hours prior to both the Michigan State and Northwestern games. The cost will be $10 per person and more information will be forthcoming on exact locations. Anyone interested in a weekend package for the Northwestern game should contact the Doreen in the alumni office at 419-372-8103. The alumni office is also sponsoring an Alumni and Friends Weekend to Chicago for the Northwestern game. The event features a two-night stay at the Westin Chicago River North, events throughout the weekend and/or bus transportation. For more information, contact Doreen at 419-372-8103.
