@BG_Football Signs 24 To 2017 Class

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University football coach Mike Jinks announced the signing of 24 players on 2017 National Signing Day. The Falcons have brought four mid-year enrollees to campus among the 24 signees.
"It's a special day," BGSU Football Coach Mike Jinks said. "We are proud of our 2017 class. We were able to fill some needs. We wanted to make sure we got bigger on the outside, both offensively and defensively. When you look at our class, you can tell we focused heavily on both sides of the line."
"As a staff, we made sure our recruits understood there was a vision," Jinks added. "We have a plan and a vision. There was a holistic approach to recruiting and we all have a lot to be proud of."
Bowling Green's signing class is ranked among the top three in the Mid-American Conference by all three major recruiting sites (247, Scout, Rivals). Based on those rankings and the national rankings from those three services, BGSU has brought in one of the most highly touted classes in program history.
