Prior to BGSU: Played for Enzo Antonucci … selected as a team captain in high school … suffered medical redshirt season in 2014 … helped lead Chabot to 9-3 record in 2015, including 76-55 win over College of San Mateo in the Bulldog Bowl … first team all-conference selection in 2015 … in 2016, named first team Region I All-California … helped Chabot rush for 147.9 yards and score 22.8 points per game in 2016.

High School: Named all-state and to District 10 All-Star team following junior and senior seasons … as a senior, made 90 tackles (11 for loss) and hauled in two interceptions … as a junior, posted 110 tackles (13 for loss) with another two interceptions … scored three defensive touchdowns … helped lead 2016 team to 14-0 record and PIAA Class 4A state championship … had team high 12 tackles (3.5 for loss) in title game … coached by Mike Mischler.

High School: Earned Offensive MVP at Blue-Gray All American Bowl Southwest Super Regional Combine … team went 16-0 and won Class 5A Division I state championship 56-0 in 2015 … AAU National Recognized Player in basketball … has averaged 12.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game as a senior … as a junior, averaged 12.7 points and 6.0 rebounds.

Matthew Tanner | OL | 6-7 | 345 | Jacksonville, Fla. | Bishop Snyder High School | E. Arizona College (11:44 a.m.)
Prior to BGSU: In high school, starter for one year under head coach Brian McCrae … at Eastern Arizona, he paved the way for offense to average 335.2 rushing yards and 27.9 points per game … he helped quarterback Jonathan Thomas to rush for 1,030 yards and ten touchdowns … also helped running back Clifford Lowe rush for 719 yards and 9.1 yards per carry.
"This mountain of a man comes to the Falcons from Eastern Arizona College. The 6-7, 345 lb. guard will join the offensive line group looking to excel in criminal justice and continue protecting humans long past his playing days.
