Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University football team has announced plans for the annual spring game Saturday at 11 am. All fans are invited to attend this event.

Rather than a full-blown game, BGSU will hold a shortened open scrimmage at Perry Field House. The adjustment in location of the spring game is being made in consideration of the facility enhancements taking place at Doyt Perry Stadium in the seating bowl and west tower suites/game operations areas.

Following the scrimmage, BGSU's football players and staff will hold a meet and greet session. Bleacher seating will be available at Perry Field House, but fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure their seat.

"We have an unbelievable fan base," BGSU Head Coach Mike Jinks said. "We are appreciative of them and all they do for us. We want to give back to them Saturday."

BGSU Football, three-time MAC East defending champions, will open the 2016 regular season at Ohio State Sept. 3 (To purchase tickets, CLICK HERE). The Falcons will then be home Sept. 10 against North Dakota and Sept. 17 against Middle Tennessee State. After a contest at Memphis, the Falcons will play eight consecutive MAC contests, including home games against Eastern Michigan, Miami, Kent State and Buffalo. The Marathon MAC Championship game takes place Dec. 2 at Ford Field in Detroit. The Falcons have won the MAC Championship in two of the past three seasons.
