Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University indoor track and field team gets the 2016-17 season underway Friday and Saturday at the Golden Flashes Gala, hosted by Kent State. Field events begin at 12:30 pm Friday and then again at 10 am Saturday. Running events start at 11 am Saturday.
The Falcons begin the 2016 season looking to improve on an eighth-place finish a year ago at the MAC Indoor Championships. BGSU scored 39 team points at the league meet a year ago.
In part two of this week's three-part preview of the season, we break down the sprints, jumps and relays under Associate Head Coach James Gildon. Part three is scheduled for release Thursday.
