There may still be snow outside and the temperatures have not broken 40 degrees but ITS BASEBALL SEASON in Bowling Green. The back-to-back Mid-American Conference regular season champion BGSU Falcons hit the road and head south to the "Bluegrass State" to take on the No. 12 Louisville Cardinals in a three-game weekend series this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.

The Lousiville Cardinals of the BIG EAST will host the Bowling Green Falcons at Jim Patterson Stadium (Louisville, Ky.) this weekend for the start of the 2010 baseball season. The BIG EAST favorites will toss the first pitch at 2:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon, weather permitting.
THE SERIES
The Falcons and the Cardinals met for the first time last season in a three-game weekend set from Feb. 27- March 1. The series resulted in three wins for Louisville by scores of 15-6, 8-5, and 9-2. Lousiville leads the all-time series set 3-0.
