Kerrie Beach is in her second season as BGSU's head gymnastics coach, but her sixth season as an integral part of the Falcon program.

In her first season at the helm of the Falcons, Beach coached two athletes that qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships. Also in 2008 she coached her team to zero falls and the third highest team score on the balance beam at the Mid-American Conference Championships.

From 2003-07 as an assistant coach Beach, helped lead the Falcons to new heights in all areas of the program, including coaching seven gymnasts to top 10 BGSU record performances on balance beam and floor. One of the many athletes she coached was Melissa Popovich who shares the top spot on balance beam with a score of 9.925.

Beach came to BGSU after serving as head gymnastics coach at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, beginning in 2000.

Beach was named WIAC Conference Coach of the Year in 2003. She also served as admission counselor for the university. Prior to Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Beach served as Ursinus College assistant gymnastics coach from October 1999 through March of 2000.

The Wilton, Conn., native was a gymnast for the Ursinus College program from 1996-1999 and was elected team captain her junior and senior seasons. Beach earned a degree in exercise and sport science in May 1999.

Beach and her husband, Kurt, reside in Perrysburg with their daughter, Mikayla.
