Carley Hrusovsky begins her first year as an assistant coach with the Bowling Green State University women's golf team. Hrusovsky is currently moving towards her MBA, working as an graduate assistant in compliance. The first year head coach has already made a major impact in the BGSU women's golf program, helping the Falcons to a second-place finish at the Huskie Classic this past fall.
Career: Finished her career with an 81.34 average, competing in 92 rounds ... was awarded a post graduate scholarship given to 13 women athletes in the country ... shot a career low 73 as a sophomore at the MAC Championships ... won her first career tournament as a senior at the Falcon Invitational. 2007-08: Finished second on the team with an 80.43 stroke average ... finished in a tie for first at the Falcon Invitational with a score of 233 (80-75-78) ... was named MAC Golfer of the Week following the Falcon Invitational ... had three top-15 finishes on the season ... carded a 157 at the Laker Fall Classic (79-78) ... finished 36th at the Shootout at the Legends with a 237 (79-78-80) ... finished 11th at the Cardinal Classic, firing a 156 (80-76). 2006-07: Named to the National Golf Coaches Association Academic All-American Team ... led the team with an 81.90 stroke average this season...finished 27th at the MAC Championships...top performances came at the YSU/Taco Bell Invitational (78-80, 6th) and the EKU Colonel Classic (79-81-82, 5th)...broke 80 five times this season. 2005-06: Led the team with an 80.15 stroke average through 26 rounds of competition... finished 21st at the MAC Championships, carding a 315 (87-73-80-75)...her 14 stroke improvement from round one to round two was a MAC Championship record...she finished seventh at both the Youngstown Invitational (73-83) and St. George Invitational (85-77), both Falcon victories...she broke 80, 14 of 26 rounds and recorded a career-low 73 twice ... named to the Academic All-MAC squad. 2004-05: Shot a team-low round of 76 at Falcon Invitational, finishing T-9th with a 36-hole score of 159...was T-31st at Lady Herd Classic with a score of 164.
