RADIO/TV: Media requesting to broadcast BGSU baseball must submit notice two weeks prior to the desired game for assurance of coverage. No more than two media organizations may broadcast from within the press box at any given time. Auxilliary space is available on top of the press box.
INTERVIEWS WITH PLAYERS / COACHES: If you are interested in conducting an interview with any of the BGSU players or coaches, please address sport information contact Scott Swegan to set up an appropriate time and method. Please allow 24 hours of notice.
GAME PREVIEWS: Game previews will be posted on BGSUFalcons.com and will be made available to the media. Previews will be released on Monday for mid-week games, and on Thursday for a weekend series.
LIVE STATS
Live stats for all BGSU home games and away contests are available on the BGSU web site (www.bgsufalcons.com). Stats can be accessed from the schedule page in the baseball section of the web site by clicking on the “Live Stats” icon on the right hand side of the page. They can also be accessed through Gameday Central, mentioned above.
RADIO
Selected radio broadcasts of BGSU baseball games will be done by the Bowling Green Radio Sports Organization (BGRSO) on 88.1 WBGU-FM or Falcon Radio (formerly WFAL Radio). Broadcasts will be determined as the season progresses. To get a schedule of the games that will be broadcast please consult the BGSU athletic web site or visit BGRSO.org.
PRE-GAME MATERIALS: Lineup cards with statistics and team rosters will be provided for all BGSU Falcon home games and can be found in the plastic bins at each stairway when entering/exiting Warren E. Steller Field. Lineups will be posted inside the pressbox for media and outside of the pressbox for fans and scouts.
POST-GAME MATERIALS: Players and coaches are available for interviews after each Falcon home game, per request. Please direct all requests to SID Scott Swegan or a member of the BGSU Sport Information Department. Interviews can be done immediately after the game and on field level. Final statistics, box score and play-by-play report can be provided for media members on request.
MEDIA GUIDES/STATISTICS
Media guides for BGSU baseball and all Falcon athletic programs are no longer being printed and distributed. All media guides are now available online only.
