Student Athlete Advisory Committee

"The Student Athlete Advisory Committee at Bowling Green State University strives to be the primary link between student athletes and administration to enhance the experience of all student-athletes."

Purpose:

1. A leadership group that encourages unity and camaraderie between teams and among all student-athletes.
2. Organize campus/community service efforts in order to bring Bowling Green State University core values to the community.
3. Encourage BGSU student body to support athletic events on campus.
4. Gain student-athlete perspective on issues in athletics.

Membership:

1. Each coach will select or appoint one student-athlete from their team for the SAAC.
2. Any student-athlete participating on a BGSU varsity team may be eligible to be an officer.
3. The term for an active member will be at least one academic year.
4. Any student-athlete with eligibility remaining is allowed to serve on the committee.
