Cashell, a recent University of Bowling Green graduate, carded rounds of 67-68-70 en route to an 11-under par total. Linton matched Cashell’s total of 205, firing a third round 65, sending the two of them to a sudden death playoff. After tying the first hole, Cashell found himself staring at twelve-footer for birdie on the second playoff hole to extend the playoff and he calmly drained the putt to extend the match. After both players pared the third playoff hole, Linton struck an errant tee shot and Cashell cashed in by birding the fourth and final playoff hole to take the victory.
