Teo Redding To Play In SPIRAL Tropical Bowl

Orlando, Fla. – Bowling Green State University wide receiver Teo Redding will play in the third annual SPIRAL Tropical Bowl Jan. 14 at 9 am at Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium. A second-team All-MAC performer, Redding recently completed his collegiate career at BGSU.
Former Tropical Bowl players have gone on to the NFL, CFL and Pro Arena leagues. It is attended by scouts and general managers from almost every NFL team. FloFootball has the exclusive rights to broadcast the game and it will stream online for subscribers at FloFootball.com.
Redding will play as a member of the National Team under head coach Mike Stock, formerly of the Green Bay Packers. The American Team will be coached by R. Todd Littlejohn.
Redding earned second-team All-MAC honors in 2017 after leading Bowling Green with eight touchdown receptions. He caught 45 passes for 624 yards and became was one of the biggest deep threats in the conference. In a win over Miami, Redding had eight catches for 197 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught two TD passes against Toledo.
Other MAC players taking part in the game include Ike Spearman (Eastern Michigan), Joseph Austin (Central Michigan), Jason Beck (Eastern Michigan), Kyle DeWeen (Buffalo), Shane Wimann (Northern Illinois), Derrick Dunlap (Eastern Michigan), Oddie Granger (Eastern Michigan) and William Lee (Northern Illinois).
Redding is the second Falcon senior who has been announced as a competitor in one of the annual postseason all-star games. Punter Joseph Davidson will take part in the East-West Shrine Game Jan. 20 at 3 pm.
