Falcon Sports Festival Set To Take Place Aug. 26

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Athletics Department will stage the first Falcon Sports Festival on Aug. 26. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at Doyt L. Perry Stadium. BGSU Athletics invites all members of the community to interact with BGSU student-athletes and coaches at The Doyt during this unique event.
BGSU's varsity teams will run stations around the field and in the east concourse, including a baseball radar gun, balance beam and tumbling station with the gymnastics team, shoot with the hockey team and much more! Football posters, along with select other sport posters, will be available and student-athletes will sign autographs. Bouncy houses, concessions, an equipment surplus sale and 50/50 will all take place during the event.
This event will be centered around scheduled volleyball and men's soccer matches that day. Volleyball hosts Xavier at 2 pm, followed by the Falcon Sports Festival. Men's soccer will conclude the exciting day with a home match against IUPUI at 7 pm, which will include a team walk at 6:10 pm and pregame tailgate.

2:00 pm - Volleyball vs. Xavier (Stroh Center)
4:30 pm - Falcon Sports Festival (Doyt Perry Stadium)
6:10 pm - Men's Soccer Team Walk and Pregame Tailgate
7:00 pm - Men's Soccer vs. IUPUI (Cochrane Soccer Stadium)
