Narro and Heredia Iglesias Named to Academic All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Bowling Green men's golfers Jose Narro and Pablo Heredia Iglesias were honored with Academic All-MAC honors for their student-athlete success in the 2016-17 campaign. The pair joins 21 golfers across the Mid-American Conference who received the award.
A native of Tampico, Mexico, Narro is a senior graduating with a cumulative GPA of 3.391 with a major in supply chain management. Heredia Iglesias, a native of Sevilla, Spain, currently holds a GPA of 3.700 while majoring in economics after his sophomore year.
Narro was named to the academic team after earning 2017 MAC Men's Golf Second Team honors earlier this season.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
