BGSU signee finishes her high-school career with nearly 1,800 points and 900 boards
Bowling Green State University women's basketball signee Angela Perry recently completed a successful senior season at Rochester High School. Perry is one of five student-athletes who signed a National Letter of Intent in November of 2016.

Perry capped off her high-school career by earning Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) All-State First-Team honors in her senior season, after being named to the third team as both a sophomore and a junior. She averaged 15.7 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, shooting 56.9 percent from the field, 78.2% from the free-throw line and 47% from three-point range.
The 2016-17 Rockets finished with a record of 32-4, advancing to the Class 3A state championship game for the second time in three seasons.
A three-time All-Central State Eight Conference First-Team selection, Perry was named the league's player of the year in her senior season. She helped the Rockets to a four-year record of 119-18, along with three-straight Central State Eight Conference titles, four regional championships, two sectional crowns and the state finals appearances in both 2015 and '17.
Perry was listed as the 14th-ranked center in the country in the Class of 2017, according to ESPN. In addition to her IBCAÂ honor, she also earned all-state accolades from the Associated Press.
Perry wrapped up her stellar career with 1,790 career points and a school-record 882 career rebounds. She earned four letters in volleyball as well as basketball, and has played AAU ball for the Illinois Predators.
