A total of six Bowling Green State University women's basketball student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, the league office announced Thursday afternoon (March 30). Seniors Rachel Konieczki and Abby Siefker, juniors Rachel Myers and Haley Puk and sophomores Maddie Cole and Carly Santoro all made the team.
BGSU's six selections tied for the highest total of any MAC institution. And, BGSU had two of the six total student-athletes -- Myers and Siefker -- with a 4.000 cumulative grade-point average. A total of 53 student-athletes were chosen to the team.
Konieczki was named to the Academic All-MAC Team for the third consecutive season, while Myers, Puk and Siefker were chosen to the team for the second-straight year.
