Thirteen Falcons Named Academic All-MAC

Cleveland, Ohio – Thirteen members of Bowling Green State University's indoor track and field team have been named Academic All-MAC, as announced by the Mid-American Conference today.
While the Falcons placed fourth at the MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in February, the program has also excelled in the classroom. Of the 13 student-athletes in the conference with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, two of them are Falcons – Becca Rae and Rachel Walny.
Academic All-MAC is awarded to student-athletes who have excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year student-athletes are not eligible.
