BGSU Adds WKKI 94.3 FM in Celina to Falcon Sports Radio Network

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University Athletics and its multimedia rights-holder, Falcon Sports Properties, announced today that WKKI 94.3 FM in Celina will be part of the Falcon Sports Radio Network for the 2016 football season.
The station will be one of nine in BGSU's radio network this season. Those nine stations will broadcast all 12 of Bowling Green's regular season football games, as well as any postseason contests. Todd Walker is the play-by-play voice of the Falcons and is in his 14th season in that capacity, while John Gibson will be in his 11th season as analyst.
"We're thrilled to be back as a radio affiliate for the Falcons," said WKKI General Manager Paul Schmitmeyer. "Bowling Green has a passionate following and many alumni in the Celina area. We look forward to carrying all of the game action and can't wait for the season to kick off."
"It's good to have WKKI back in the radio mix for Falcon fans and know they'll deliver quality game broadcasts for fans," said Chuck Spicer, general manager for Falcon Sports Properties.
The Bowling Green Falcons begin the 2016 football season on Saturday at noon against the Big Ten's Ohio State Buckeyes.
