The Falcon Coaches Caravan Is Coming To A City Near You In May!
April 29, 2016 | General, Falcon Club
Bowling Green, Ohio – The second annual Falcon Coaches Caravan is hitting the road May 9-12 to make three Ohio stops, and another in Indianapolis. This year's travel party will make a big splash as they hit the road in a completely Falcon-branded luxury cruiser provided by Lakefront Bus Lines.
Football coach Mike Jinks, hockey coach Chris Bergeron, men's basketball coach Michael Huger, and women's basketball coach Jennifer Roos highlight the lineup of speakers on the road for this unique opportunity, with several other BGSU head coaches speaking as their recruiting and competition schedule allows.
"The Falcon Coaches Caravan is a natural extension of our efforts to reach out to fans and supporters in and around Bowling Green," Dan Meyer, Associate Athletics Director for Development, said. "Our coaches are great ambassadors for their programs and this department, so we are excited to connect them in a direct way with our fans and supporters."
On May 9, the caravan will pull into Indianapolis for a 5:30 pm meet and greet. The next day, the group will make a stop between Dayton and Cincinnati in West Chester at 5:30 pm. On May 11, the coaches and staff will arrive in Columbus and the trip will conclude on May 12 in Cleveland. For full details or to register, please CLICK HERE.
A full rundown of dates (with links to RSVP online), times and locations is listed below. Falcon food and drink happy hour specials will be offered at most stops with a no-host bar available. The Columbus stop is the only venue with an admission charge, but that $15 price comes with a dinner buffet and soft drinks. Guests of all ages are welcome to attend all Caravan stops.
