Orlando, Fla. – Bowling Green State University tennis freshman Polina Radeva won at the No. 1 singles spot for the Falcons, but the University of Richmond captured the match, 6-1, Monday afternoon at the Star Island Tennis Facility.
The Spiders won the doubles point and used the momentum in singles to secure the victory over the Falcons.
In singles, Radeva won her seventh match of season after defeating Richmond's Anna Abadias, 6-4, 7-5.
The Falcons will return to action Thursday for their final match in Orlando against the Coyotes of South Dakota at 8 a.m.
