Time To Think Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend

Hall of Fame Weekend Information
Bowling Green, Ohio – In partnership with Kroger, the Bowling Green State University Athletics Department will hold numerous pink-themed events to raise awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer. BGSU Athletics will donate a portion of ticket sales from the weekend's pink volleyball, football and hockey events to the Wood County Cancer Center.

The pink weekend starts Friday at 5 pm as BGSU Swimming and Diving hosts rival Toledo at Cooper Pool in the Battle of I-75. The first 100 fans will receive a pink bandana, courtesy of Kroger. Following the meet, the swim/dive team will be signing autographs. Admission is free to all regular season home swim/dive meets.

The weekend continues later Friday evening as BGSU Hockey hosts Ohio State at 8 pm in the Madhouse on Mercer. Tickets can by purchased by visiting BGSUFalcons.com/buytickets. The first 500 fans will receive a pink bandana from Kroger. During the second intermission, BGSU Athletics will recognize the newest class of the Hall of Fame – Josh Harris, Keith McLeod and Tracy (Gaerke) Seeley.

Saturday, BGSU Football hosts Miami at noon at Doyt L. Perry Stadium. Tickets can be purchased by visiting BGSUFalcons.com/buytickets. The first 500 fans will receive a pink bandana from Kroger. Also during the game, BGSU students will be Biking For A Cure to raise money for the Wood County Cancer Center.

The pink weekend concludes Saturday night at 5 pm as BGSU Volleyball hosts rival Toledo in the Stroh Center. Fans with a ticket from the earlier football game will receive free admission and there will be an opportunity to donate to the Wood County Cancer Care Center by pledging an amount per dig. BGSU's Madeline Garda currently leads the nation in digs per set and is on pace to shatter numerous records!
