The junior totaled six kills and five blocks in the five set loss to Indiana in the season opener on Aug. 28. She then had 12 kills and 10 total blocks in the 3-1 win over Notre Dame on Aug. 29, the Falcons' first win over an ACC foe since beating Maryland in 2001. Her 10 total blocks was a new career-high. Against Cleveland State in the tournament finale, Maloney registered seven kills and an attack percentage of .333 overall for the match. She also added five total blocks and an ace in the 3-2 win over the previously unbeaten Vikings.
