Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team will host a second round game in the 2015 CollegeInsiders.com Postseason Tournament (CIT) this Saturday, March 21, at the Stroh Center at 1 p.m. The Falcons will play the winner of the first round contest between Dartmouth and Canisius who plays tonight at 7 p.m. ET.
The Falcons (21-11) are coming off a first round 67-64 road win at Saint Francis (Pa.) on Tuesday night in the first round of the 2015 CIT tournament.
"We are pleased to be hosting a second round CIT game this Saturday afternoon at the Stroh Center. Our current goal to finish the season with positive momentum continues after winning Bowling Green's first postseason game in 40 years on Tuesday," stated head coach Chris Jans. "We hope our BGSU fans will come out and support these student-athletes who are striving to win a championship."
Tuesday night's win was the first win for the Falcons in a national postseason tournament in 40 years dating back to a first round win over Tennessee in the National Commissioner's Invitational in 1975.
The win snapped a 10-game losing streak for the Falcons in national postseason play, but also marked Bowling Green's first-ever win in the CIT (1-1).
Tickets will cost $5 for reserved seating and $10 for Anderson Club seating, which will include a complimentary buffet and fountain drinks. Fans interested in additional premium seating options are asked to contact the BGSU Ticket office directly. Tickets for BGSU students are free with a valid BGSU student ID. 2014-15 BGSU Men's Basketball season ticket holders are able to retain the same seats they had throughout the season by purchasing tickets online at www.BGSUFalcons.com/buytickets or by calling the BGSU Ticket Office at (419) 372-0000 by noon on Thursday, March 19.
Additional promotions on Saturday afternoon include:
   * A lucky fan in attendance will win two free 2015-16 BGSU men's basketball season tickets.
   * Parking is only $5 on a first come first serve basis.
   * Hot dogs, popcorn and 16-ounce fountain drinks will be just $2 each.
Immediately after the end of the Falcons' CIT contest, fans will be asked to leave the court area and go to the Hall of Fame on the east side of the Stroh Center in order for the staff to complete the necessary changes and cleanup for the OHSAA Regional Finals set for 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
