At the Game: A Fan's Guide to Saturday's Contest Versus Indiana of the Big Ten

The Bowling Green State University football team hosts Indiana out of the Big Ten Conference on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 12:01 p.m. in Doyt Perry Stadium. The contest can only be viewed on ESPNU or online at either ESPN3 or the Watch ESPN App with Mark Neely (Play-by-Play) and David Diaz Infante (Anaylyst) on the call. For those coming to the game, please review the game day information below.

8:00 a.m. – Ticket Windows at Doyt Perry Stadium open
9:00 a.m. – Falcon Football Tailgate Park opens
9:30 a.m. – Team Arrives for the Falcon Team Walk
10:00 a.m. – PreFlight with the Falcon Marching Band (south end of Stadium)
10:30 a.m. – All Gates open
10:30 a.m. – Game Day Merchandise Tent opens
11:51 a.m. – National Anthem
12:01 p.m. – Kickoff
Falcon Football Tailgate Park
The Falcon Football Tailgate Park will open up at 9 a.m. Inflatables will be located at the northeast end of the sidewalk.

Falcon Team Walk
The Falcon Team Walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will take place along the sidewalk on the southwest side of the stadium between the Stroh Center and Doyt Perry Stadium. This is where the BGSU Football Team walks through a tunnel of fans, cheerleaders, dance team, band members and all Falcons as they arrive at the stadium.

Parking

Students with a valid Student I.D. will be able to park for free in the grass lot next to the football practice field off of Stadium Drive behind the east side of Doyt Perry Stadium. Parking is limited. Courtesy carts can be found at the Season Ticket Lot, the Ice Arena Lot and the northeast side of the Stroh Center Lot.

Traffic
I-75 is under construction on both north and south bound lanes throughout Northwest Ohio. Please make sure to plan your time accordingly. Also expect an increased amount of traffic around the Bowling Green area due to game day crowds of fans and tailgaters attending the game.

Tickets
The BGSU Ticket Office at the Stroh Center will be CLOSED. To help expedite your entrance into the Doyt Perry Stadium, the Will Call Window and ticket booths will open at 8:00 a.m. so you are able to purchase and pick up your tickets early. Will Call is located on the southeast side of the stadium at the southeast ticket booth. Player passes will be located at Gate 9, while the Media Gate is located at Gate 2. Ticket prices are $21 for chairback seating and $18 for bench seating. Â Fans can pay with cash, Mastercard, VISA, or Discover Card. Stadium Gates will open at 10:30 a.m.

Promotions
Family Weekend: Â It is Family Weekend (Sept. 12-14) at BGSU, so don't forget to join all of your Falcon Family for the IU game this Saturday.
Falcon Flight Line: The first 100 students into the gates will receive a free t-shirt which will allow them to make up the fan tunnel that the Football team will run through on their way onto the field.
F.A.R. Award Recognition: Members of the BGSU Women's Athletic teams will receive the Faculty Athletic Representative Award from the MAC Commissioner Dr. John Steinbrecher for their top academic performance in the conference. This is the fourth time that BGSU has won this prestigious academic award.
Family of the Year Recognition: BGSU President Mary Ellen Mazy and Vice President for Student Affairs Jill Carr will recognize and honor BGSU's Family of the Year!
Men's Basketball Team: New BGSU head coach Chris Jans and the men's basketball team will be introduced on the field. The 2014-15 men's basketball team will host 16 home games this season and need your help to pack the Stroh this season! Tickets are on sale now at the BGSU Ticket Office.

Merchandise
The Game Day Merchandise Tent is located in the south end zone side of the stadium and is open to all Falcon Fans! The Game Day Merchandise Tent will open at 10:30 a.m. This season there will also be a merchandise cart roaming through the parking and tailgate areas prior to the game. The Falcon Team Store will also be open in the Stroh Center on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Concessions
Pizza Hut will be selling pizza directly from their truck on the east side of the stadium! Stop by to pick up a fresh, hot slice of pizza during the game. BGSU Athletics would like to thank Pizza Hut for their support over the past three years. Standard concessions are also available on both the east and west sides of the stadium throughout the concourse areas.

Game Day Programs
The official BGSU Game Day Programs will be available at the main entrances of the stadium. During the game, members of the local Boy Scout Troops will be selling game day programs. Programs will also be available in the Bookstore Tent in the south end zone. Programs are $5.

For the Kids
Falcon Kids Club tickets can be redeemed at any ticket booth with a valid membership card.
The Kid Zone will be located behind the scoreboard and the south end zone beyond the BGSU marketing tent.

Stadium Information
* Students can enter the stadium through Gate 6 ONLY. Student seating is in sections 17, 19 and 21. Overflow student seating (if necessary) will be in sections 7, 9 and 11.
* Even sections are located on the east side of the stadium (8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20).
* Odd sections are located on the west side of the stadium (7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, and 21).
* First aid is located on the east concourse level between sections 14 and 16.
* The BGSU marketing tent is located near the south end zone, adjacent to the entrance of the Falcon Club Tent.
* Customer service and stadium information will be located at the BGSU marketing tent located in the south end zone. This is also the lost & found area, as well as the lost kids drop area as well.
* Police officers will be located throughout the stadium.
* Bowling Green State University is a smoke free campus. Smoking is not allowed inside the stadium. Please help us by smoking in the designated smoking areas outside of Gate 2.
* Green Game Day is a joint program between Campus Sustainability and BG Athletics to reduce waste in and around Doyt Perry Stadium. You can help us tackle waste by using a "green" bag in the tailgate area and filling it full of cans and bottles. Simply tie it up and leave it at your tailgate area for pickup. In the stadium, please recycle your cans and bottles in the containers provided.Â
