Ice Hockey Adds Three To Falcon Family

Lukas Craggs, Shane Bednard, and Jakob Reichert will join the Falcon family.
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green ice hockey head coach Chris Bergeron, who will be entering his fifth season at the helm of program for the 2014-15 campaign, has announced the signing of three student-athletes during the spring of 2014. Bowling Green welcomes forwards Lukas Craggs, Shane Bednard, and Jakob Reichert to the Falcons.
"We are very excited to be adding Lukas, Shane, and Jakob to the Falcon Hockey Family," Bergeron said. "All three of these young men fit what we are looking for in people. Their commitment, both on and off the ice, will help us continue to build this program."

Lukas Craggs | Forward
DOB: May 16, 1996 | Elmhurst, Ill.
Height: 5'8"Â | Weight: 165 IBS
 Lukas Craggs (Elmhurst, Ill.) has signed his National Letter of Intent with Bowling Green. Craggs played for Team Illinois Midget Major U18 in the HPHL hockey league in 2013-14. Craggs tallied 20 goals and 11 assists for 31 points in 28 games. He also played for Team Illinois U16 in 2012-13, recording nine goals and seven assists for 16 total points in 26 games. Shane Bednard | Forward
DOB: Nov. 11, 1994 | Macomb, Mich.
Height: 161 IBSÂ | Weight: 5'11"
Shane Bednard (Macomb, Mich.) will continue his hockey career with the Bowling Green Falcons after signing a National Letter of Intent with the Orange and Brown. Bednard played for the Johnston Tomahawks in the NAHL junior hockey league in 2013-14, tallying 19 goals and 32 assists for 51 points in 60 games. He also played for the Little Caesars U16 and U18 teams in 2011-12 and 2012-13 respectively, totaling 61 points (23 goals, 38 assists) during that span. DOB: Sept. 30, 1993Â | British Columbia, Canada
Height: 6'4"Â | Weight: 229 IBS
Jakob Reichert (British Columbia, Canada) will continue his career with the Bowling Green Falcons after signing his National Letter of Intent to play for the Orange and Brown. Reichert recently has played for the Langley Rivermen in the BCHL junior hockey league, tallying 20 goals and 24 assists in 57 games in 2013-14. He also played for the Langley Rivermen in 2012-13, recording nine goals and 19 assists in 51 games. In all, the 6'4" forward has totaled 72 points in two seasons with the Langley Rivermen.
