Falcons Move Up One Spot In Latest USCHO Poll

After not playing over the weekend, Bowling Green jumped to No. 14 in the latest men's ice hockey poll.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University ice hockey team is ranked No. 14 in this week's USCHO NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Poll.
Bowling Green – who was ranked No. 15 in last week's poll – earned a No. 19 ranking in the Nov. 10 poll, which marked the first time that the program had been ranked since the 2007-08 season.
The Orange and Brown have now been ranked in each of the past four weeks, improving its ranking across each poll. After earning the No. 19 ranking on Nov. 10, the Falcons inched up to No. 18 the following week. Bowling Green then swept Bemidji State across Nov. 21-22 at the BGSU Ice Arena to leap up to the No. 15 slot.
North Dakota ranks No. 1 this week, while WCHA foe Minnesota State sits second. Michigan Tech (5) and Northern Michigan (19) also earned spots in the Top 20, while Ferris State is receiving seven votes.
The Falcons will be back in action this weekend (Dec. 5-6) at Northern Michigan's Barry Events Center. Friday night's game is scheduled for 7:37 p.m., while Saturday's contest will have a 7:07 p.m. puck drop.
