At the Game: Wednesday Night #MACtion from the Doyt

The Bowling Green State University football team will host Kent State in a pivotal MAC East match up on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 8:05 p.m. in Doyt Perry Stadium. The contest can only be viewed on ESPN2 or ESPN3 (if not blacked out) with Tom Hart (Play-by-Play) and David Diaz Infante (Analyst) on the call. With a win, the Falcons can clinch the MAC East regular season championship. For those coming to the game, please review the game day information below.

10:00 a.m. - Falcon Team Store Open (through kickoff approx. 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.)
4:00 p.m. – Ticket Windows at Doyt Perry Stadium open (Ticket Office at the Stroh Center open until 5:00 p.m. for normal business hours)
5:00 p.m. – Falcon Football Tailgate Park opens

Falcon Football Tailgate Park
The Falcon Football Tailgate Park will open up at 5:00 p.m.
Falcon Team Walk
The Falcon Team Walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will take place along the sidewalk on the southwest side of the stadium between the Stroh Center and Doyt Perry Stadium. This is where the BGSU Football Team walks through a tunnel of fans, cheerleaders, dance team, band members and all Falcons as they arrive at the stadium.
PreFlight with the Falcon Marching Band
The PreFlight with the Falcon Marching Band will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Stroh Center. This is a pregame performance by the Falcon Marching Band in which all fans are encouraged to come out and watch as the Falcons get fired up for the game versus Kent State.
Parking

Students with a valid Student I.D. will be able to park for free in the grass lot next to the football practice field off of Stadium Drive behind the east side of Doyt Perry Stadium. Courtesy carts can be found at the Season Ticket Lot, the Ice Arena Lot and the northeast side of the Stroh Center Lot.
Traffic
I-75 is under construction on both north and south bound lanes throughout Northwest Ohio. Please make sure to plan your time accordingly. Also expect an increased amount of traffic around the Bowling Green area due to game day crowds of fans and tailgaters attending the game.
Tickets
The BGSU Ticket Office at the Stroh Center will be open until 5:00 p.m. for its normal business hours. To help expedite your entrance into the Doyt Perry Stadium, the Will Call Window and ticket booths will open at 4:00 p.m. so you are able to purchase and pick up your tickets early. Will Call is located on the southeast side of the stadium at the southeast ticket booth. Player passes will be located at Gate 9, while the Media Gate is located at Gate 2. Falcon Club members will also be able to enter into the stadium at Gate 2 with a valid Falcon Club Member Card. The Visiting Team Will Call will be located at Gate 14. Ticket prices are $18 for chairback seating and $15 for bench seating. Fans can pay with cash, Mastercard, VISA, or Discover Card. Stadium Gates will open at 6:30 p.m.

Jaffe Jewelers to Present Diamond Giveaway: Harold Jaffe Jewelers, the Falcons' official jeweler, will have a display on the main concourse of Doyt Perry Stadium prior to the football game against Kent State on Wednesday, November 12. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the first 500 fans who visit the display will receive a special gift from the jeweler and be entered to win a diamond. The prizes range from a gemstone to a diamond and must be redeemed at the Harold Jaffe Jewelers location at 4211 Talmadge Road in Toledo. Click here to read more about the Diamond Giveaway promotion.
Falcons Fighting Hunger: The Bowling Green State University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will continue the department's annual Falcons Fighting Hunger Canned Goods Food Drive Saturday on Wednesday night. Fans are encouraged to bring canned goods to one or more designated athletic events in November. Those who donate canned goods will receive a coupon for $4 off a ticket as well as a free 12 oz. fountain drink or popcorn, courtesy of Sodexo. The SAAC will be set up at all gates beginning at approximately 7:00 p.m. Click here for more information on Falcons Fighting Hunger.
BG Mug Giveaway: The first 800 students into the stadium will receive a free 16 ounce BG Mug. With the BG Mug you also receive a coupon for one free hot chocolate. Any refill after that with the BG Mug will be just $1.50.
Falcon Flight Line: The first 100 students into the gates will receive a free t-shirt which will allow them to make up the fan tunnel that the Football team will run through on their way onto the field. The Falcon Flight Line will form on the field at approximately 7:58 p.m.
Halftime Show: The Falcon Marching Band will be performing at halftime. The show is entitled "Night Songs".
Merchandise
The Game Day Merchandise Tent is located in the south end zone side of the stadium and is open to all Falcon Fans! The Game Day Merchandise Tent will open at 6:30 p.m. This season there will also be a merchandise cart roaming through the parking and tailgate areas prior to the game, weather permitting.

The Falcon Team Store will also be open in the Stroh Center on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. through the start of the game.

Concessions
Pizza Hut will be selling pizza directly from their truck on the west side of the stadium! Stop by to pick up a fresh, hot slice of pizza during the game. BGSU Athletics would like to thank Pizza Hut for their support over the past three years. Standard concessions are also available on both the east and west sides of the stadium throughout the concourse areas.
Game Day Programs
The official BGSU Game Day Programs will be available at the main entrances of the stadium. During the game, members of the local Boy Scout Troops will be selling game day programs. Programs will also be available in the Bookstore Tent in the south end zone. Programs are $5.
50/50 Raffle
The 50/50 raffle tickets will be available at any of the main entrances. BGSU will debut its automated 50/50 raffle system on Wednesday night. Fans will find the ease of use, longer buying windows and larger jackpots as a bonus to the department's previous Falcon Club 50/50 drawings. For the Kids
Falcon Kids Club tickets can be redeemed at any ticket booth with a valid membership card.
Stadium Information
* Students can enter the stadium through Gate 6 ONLY. Student seating is in sections 17, 19 and 21. Overflow student seating (if necessary) will be in sections 7, 9 and 11.
* Even sections are located on the east side of the stadium (8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20).
* Odd sections are located on the west side of the stadium (7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, and 21).
* First aid and the Paramedics Station will be located at the northwest side of the stadium.
* The BGSU marketing tent is located near the south end zone, adjacent to the entrance of the Falcon Club Tent.
* Customer service and stadium information will be located at the BGSU marketing tent located in the south end zone. This is also the lost & found area, as well as the lost kids drop area as well. Lost & Found will be open for up to 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game. If you have lost an item and lost & found is closed, please call Steve Messenger at (419) 372-7263.
* Police officers will be located throughout the stadium.
* Bowling Green State University is a smoke free campus. Smoking is not allowed inside the stadium. Please help us by smoking in the designated smoking areas outside of Gate 2.
* Green Game Day is a joint program between Campus Sustainability and BG Athletics to reduce waste in and around Doyt Perry Stadium. You can help us tackle waste by using a "green" bag in the tailgate area and filling it full of cans and bottles. Simply tie it up and leave it at your tailgate area for pickup. In the stadium, please recycle your cans and bottles in the containers provided.
