Falcon Send-Off Set For Wednesday Afternoon!

Bowling Green, Ohio - The BGSU baseball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 14 years and fans are encouraged to wish the team well by joining the Falcons for their official send-off Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m.
The team will be leaving for Louisville from the BGSU Ice Arena just south of Warren E. Steller Field. The Falcons will face Louisville Friday night at 6 p.m. and then will face either No. 2 seed Miami or No. 3 seed Oklahoma State on Saturday.
Bowling Green advanced to the NCAA Tournament by winning the MAC Tournament as the No. 6 seed. The Falcons won a thrilling 1-0 game on Saturday to advance to the championship. Then, in the championship, the Falcons defeated Ball State 7-0, with Nick Bruns throwing a complete-game shutout.
