WATCH PRESS CONFERENCE
It's National Signing Day 2013, and the Bowling Green State University football team is excited and ready to announce the newest additions to the Falcon family!
BGSU Athletic Communications is here to live blog the day's events -- we'll have updates on player signings (including player bios), as well as photos and videos of the festivities.
At 2 p.m. assistant coaches will hold a live one hour show to talk about the 2013 recruiting class. You can watch the free stream by clicking HERE. At 3 p.m. head coach Dave Clawson will have a live press conference, which you can view in real-time by clicking the “Watch Press Conference” link at the top of the page.
We will also have a social media presence -- watch for Twitter updates through @DaveMeyerBG (BGSU Football SID), @BGAthletics (Official Account of BGSU Athletics) and @BGFalconFootbal (Official Account of BGSU Football) -- we will provide player signing updates and will answer questions submitted to those accounts throughout the day. Don't forget that BGSU football season tickets go on sale today.
Early bird pricing for season tickets will remain the same as 2012. Bench seats are $75 and chairbacks are $84 until the April 12 spring game with numerous benefits. Fans who purchase their season tickets before April 12 will receive free parking (a $60 value), a VIP Field Pass for the spring game, an invitation to the Season Ticket Holder Party with Head Coach Dave Clawson in August, utilization of BGSU's ticket exchange program and the opportunity to select two free tickets to an away Mid-American Conference game of choice.
Also, the BGSU Athletics Ticket Office has announced a new season ticket holder referral program. Each individual who refers a new season ticket holder will receive a BGSU baseball cap. The season ticket holder who refers the most new season ticket holders will receive a trip for two to see the Falcons play Indiana on Sept. 14. Accommodations will include travel with the team to Indiana, a hotel room, a VIP Dinner with BGSU Director of Athletics Greg Christopher, and two tickets to the game.
