Bowling Green, Ohio- Bowling Green State University gymnastics coach Kerrie Turner, the defending Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year, has announced the signing of three gymnasts for the 2014 season. Morgan Denlinger, Taylor Livingston and Shannon Goniwiecha have all committed to the Falcons for the 2014-15 season. As well, Kylie Bosco and McKenna Schoenberger will join the Falcons as walk-ons.
Â
"Our three signees bring a wealth of high level competitive experience and strengths on every event," Turner said. "It is exciting to think that Morgan, Shannon and Taylor will have the potential to compete in the all-around. This is definitely a strong recruiting class and I am certain they will contribute to our team upon their arrival to campus next fall."
Â
Denlinger, from Lancaster, Pa., is the daughter of Mark and Kim Denlinger and attends Prestige Gymnastics Club and Hempfield High School. In 2012, she was a level 10 national qualifier and attained a level 10 regional vault title in 2011, qualifying for the NIT. Â
"Shannon has a nice consistency to her gymnastics," Turner said. "She is performing high level skills and she is excellent on uneven bars. I expect Shannon will have opportunities on every event to push our lineups to excel."
