BGSU Holds Basketball Media Day And First Media Game

Bowling Green, Ohio - The BGSU Athletics Department held its annual Men's and Women's Basketball Media Day Tuesday as well as holding the first Media Basketball Game. Members of the Northwest Ohio media spent the afternoon interviewing players and coaches from both the BGSU men's and women's basketball teams, with a media game held in-between the two events.
Twelve members of the local media took part in the game and various players and coaches from the BGSU men's and women's basketball team assisted. The team coached by BGSU women's basketball coach Jennifer Roos defeated the team coach by men's basketball coach Louis Orr 39-25 in two 20-minute running clock halves. Simone Eli, Luke Kraus, A'uston Calhoun, and LaMonta Stone acted as referees for the game, while various men's basketball players assisted the two head coaches on the bench.
