Former Falcon baseball player Ross Gerdeman sat down for an interview with BGSUFalcons.com today, to discuss him being drafted, his experience as a Falcon, and what he expects in the upcoming season.
Gerdeman, who was drafted in the 35th round (1,054 overall), spent last summer with the Arizona League Diamondbacks. Last season with the Falcons, Gerdeman appeared in 22 games in relief. He struck out 42 batters in 58 innings pitched. He had a 2-1 record with a 3.57 ERA in the orange and brown. After being drafted, Gerdeman appeared in 14 games, while starting seven for the Diamondbacks. Gerdeman had a 4-2 record with a 3.64 ERA in 59.1 innings pitched.
