Falcon Baseball Holds 2012 Super Bowl Raffle

The Bowling Green State University baseball team of head coach Danny Schmitz held their annual Super Bowl Raffle fundraiser Thursday (Jan. 12) evening. A myriad of prizes were given away on the evening, including hats, shirts, pullovers, and more Falcon baseball gear. The top winners took home tickets and cash on the evening, with the top prize being $1,500. A total of 25 prizes we're given away, with six top prizes.
The top prize of $1,500 was won by Kim Armbruster of Bryan, Ohio (sold by Alex Nossaman, r-Fr., LHP). The next prize, consisting of four tickets to a Detroit Tigers game this upcoming season, and $50, was won by John Thomas of Brunswick, Ohio (sold by Jake Thomas, So., OF). Next came four tickets to a Detroit Redwings game and $50. The winner was Amy Bladow (sold by Andrew Kubuski, So., OF) of Norman, Okla. Jane Overbeck (sold by Jake Overbeck, Fr., RHP) of Loveland, Ohio was the recipient of four Cleveland Indians tickets and $50. The fifth-place prize went to Bryce Graven (sold by Mike Frank, Jr., RHP) of Maumee, Ohio. He won four Toledo Mud Hens tickets and $25. The final top prize went to Derek Hutchison (sold by Trevor Blaylock, Fr., RHP) of Bryan, Ohio. Hutchison won four tickets to a Toledo Walleye game and $10.
