Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Athletics Department will be Closing The Doors Of The House That Roars on Saturday, March 5 at 8 p.m. by hosting the BiG Event!
This once-in-a-lifetime event will take place in Anderson Arena and BGSU fans will NOT want to miss it! There will be food, cash bar, live and silent auctions, raffles, and music from KGB Band. Auction items will include an autographed Nate Thurmond throwback jersey, dinners with coach Louis Orr, coach Curt Miller, and coach Denise Van De Walle, the championship banners that currently hang in Anderson Arena, autographed balls from each of the three All-Anderson Teams, unique collector photos of Anderson Arena, and throwback jerseys worn by current members of the men's and women's basketball teams.
Many former athletes will be in attendance at the BiG Event, including Nate Thurmond, Anthony Stacey, Mac Otten, Stephanie Swiger, Colin Irish, Shane Kine-Ruminski, Megan Harriel (McGuire), Don Sander, William Reynolds, Larry Miles, and Bob Van Poppel.
