If the Falcons thought Wednesday's practice was hot, think again. The Bowling green State University football team practiced Friday afternoon in the grass lots just outside of Doyt Perry Stadium in temperatures that reached near 100 degrees.
Despite the heat BGSUFalcons.com is still trying to bring you as much information as we can. Today we are taking a look at the running back position.
The Falcons are led by senior captain Willie Geter, who set career-highs in yards (705) and touchdowns (9) last season. Geter finished the year scoring five times in his last two games, including three versus Toledo and a pair in the Humanitarian Bowl versus Idaho.
The backup job is up for grabs, with John Pettigrew, Erique Geiger and Jordan Hopgood, who was just recently moved to the tailback position.
