The Mid-American Conference office has announced the 2010 preseason football poll, with the Bowling Green State University Falcons picked to finish fourth in the East Division. The poll was comprised of 20 members of the league’s media contingent and was announced at Friday’s (July 30) media day at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich.

The Falcons were picked to finish fifth in last year’s preseason poll, eventually finishing third (6-2 MAC) and advancing to the 2009 Roady’s Humanitarian Bowl, their fourth bowl appearance since 2003.

Northern Illinois garnered 115 points, including 15 first-place votes to lead the West Division.
