The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team finished seventh at the 2010 Mid-American Conference Championships with a score of 191.850. The seven-team meet was held inside Anderson Arena on the campus of BGSU.
Central Michigan won the meet with a score of 195.600, followed by Kent State (195.025), Eastern Michigan (193.625), Northern Illinois (193.175), Ball State (193.100), Western Michigan (192.875) and BGSU (191.850). It was the first CMU MAC Championship since 2004.
BGSU began the day on the vault where they posted a team score of 48.000. Freshman Danielle Wishart led the way with a 9.775, followed by fellow classmate, Sunny Marchand, who scored a 9.725.
Following a bye, BGSU rolled over to the uneven parallel bars, where they scored a 48.200 with help from a 9.750 from Amber Brewer and a 9.725 by Kasey Fillmore. Brewer finished fifth in the event.
Once again, after another bye, beam was up next for the Orange and Brown. Senior Megan Chronister, competing in her final meet, lead the Falcons with a 9.675. The balance beam would be the Falcons undoing though as they could not recover from a pair of falls, finishing with a team score of 46.925.
The Falcons saved its best for the last on the floor exercise, scoring a 48.750, their fourth-highest mark of the season. BGSU was led by Dawn Christman, who scored a 9.850, followed by Wishart and Breanne Guy, both who scored 9.750's. Christman's score was in a six-way tie for first-place.
