Eno, Wishart Named Papa John's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Papa John's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Nick Eno and gymnast Danielle Wishart.
Male Athlete of the Week
Nick Eno, a junior from Howell, Mich., made 28 saves in the front half of a rare split series with Michigan. In 58:50 of play, Eno stopped all 22 shots that he faced while playing five-on-five hockey and after a five-minute Wolverine power play in the first period, shut out Michigan for the duration of the contest. Though the Falcons came up on the short-end of the 2-1 decision Thursday night, Eno has established himself as a team staple between the posts with a 2.98 goals-against-average in conference play with a .902 save percentage against CCHA competition.
Female Athlete of the Week
Danielle Wishart, a freshman from Bethesda, Mary., helped lead the Falcons to their third victory in a row and a season-best team score of 193.300 in the meet with Illinois-Chicago. Wishart finished first on the floor exercise (9.875) and balance beam (9.825) and second on the vault (9.875), recording career-highs in all three events.
