Hannah Lambert, Lauren Glew and Megan Gormley, members of the Bowling Green State University women's golf team, were named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team this afternoon. All three Falcons carry a minimum of a 3.57 grade-point average.

This past year the Brook Park, Ohio, native averaged 87.07 while competing in a career-high 29 rounds. She shot a career-low 74 at the LPGA International and added a 78 at the Huskie Classic, helping the Falcons to a silver medal finish.

Glew, a second-year winner of this award, currently majors in finance, while maintaining a 3.74 GPA in her second year with the Orange and Brown. Glew finished second on the team with an 82.86 average, competing in a career-high 29 rounds. Gormley had two top-five finishes, including finishing fifth at the Huskie Classic (77-80) and fourth at the Falcon Invitational (81-77). Gormley maintains a 3.57 GPA, while majoring in sport management.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed in at least 50% (Division I) or 66% (Division II & III) of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.

A total of 410 women's golfers were honored with this award.
