BALTIMORE, MD - Former Bowling Green State University outfielder Nolan Reimold, the 2005 Mid-American Conference Player of the Year, was called up Wednesday night by the Baltimore Orioles. Reimold started the season at Triple-A Norfolk where he was batting .394 with nine home runs. Baltimore is currently 14-20 on the season. Reimold was called up to cover for injuries to Adam Jones and Luke Scott. Jones hurt a hamstring Wednesday night and is day-to-day while Scott hurt his shoulder over the weekend and is expected to return to the lineup soon.

He also performed well in Spring Training this spring, but the Orioles did not want to bring him up until they knew he could see some playing time.
